A Narcissist's Hilarious Take on Housekeeping

Dust Bunny Conventions & Sock Brigades

When a narcissist discusses the housekeeping habits of their victim, it’s like listening to a stand-up comedian who doesn’t realize they’re the punchline. Imagine them strolling through the living room, acting like they’re on an episode of "Cribs" but with a snarky twist. “Oh, look at this! A dust bunny convention under the couch. Are they having a reunion?”

Narcissists love to exaggerate. A single sock on the floor becomes, “This place looks like a war zone! Are we under attack by the Sock Brigade?” They’ll peer into the kitchen sink, aghast at a couple of dishes, and proclaim, “What is this, a science experiment? Are we growing a new species of mold here?”

They have a talent for making mountains out of molehills. “I’ve seen cleaner pigsties,” they’ll declare, completely missing the irony that their own clutter is scattered everywhere. They’ll point at a slightly disorganized bookshelf and ask, “Are we auditioning for ‘Hoarders’? Should I call the producers?”

Their critiques are often accompanied by dramatic sighs and eye rolls worthy of an Oscar. “I didn’t realize I signed up to live in the Bermuda Triangle of lost items,” they’ll say, while they can’t find their own keys for the third time this week.

As they critique every dust particle, just remember: the real joke is on them. They’re so busy nitpicking that they don’t see the chaos they bring. So, next time the narcissist starts their housekeeping comedy routine, just grab some popcorn and enjoy the absurdity. As Oscar Wilde said, “Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go.”

The author of this website, Mary Susan, 1. Has no credentials in psychology, 2. Is a narcissist who creates chaos in everyone's lives, and 3. Hilariously created this website as a (classic) narcissist projection. Fuck you Mary Susan. You'll never change.
